The Boy Who Harnassed the Wind

William is a fourteen year old boy living in Malawi Africa. His village is one of agriculture, with little or no running water, little or no electricity. When his region is struck by drought and famine, William is forced to quit school and assist his family on their farm. As the months pass their survival is in question without crops and little food. Always a tinkerer, first with battery operated radios and then with electricity, Williams decides to build his family a source of electricity using the plans for a windmill found in a school library book. This is the true story of his effort as seen on You Tube, and TED.
